FPV Expansion/Seismic "V" Loop
The versatile Thermo Tech Flex/PAND/VEE expansion seismic loop is a simple, but elegant solution for axial, lateral, and angular piping motion. The "V" loop withstands thermal expansion and contraction, seismic and structural shift. This unique design is a cost saving alternative to the old, traditional bellows, slip-type (packed) expansion joints, or hard piping loops.
Thermo Tech FPV expansion/seismic loops are available in pipe sizes from ½" to 12", with end fittings for 150# and 300# flanged piping systems. They are also available with grooved, butt weld, threaded, or copper sweat connections. Consult the factory for larger movements, and higher pressure ratings. Standard designs allow for +/- 2" or +/- 4" of multi-plane (X-Y-Z axis) motion.
